Another Dacula Business Burglarized

There were no signs of forced entry.

Gwinnett County Police are investigating a burglary at an Auburn Road business in which nearly $300 was taken out of a safe.

A manager arrived at Great Clips, located at 831 Auburn Road, on the morning of Aug. 26 and discovered the back door was unlocked. According to the manager, she had locked both doors before leaving on Aug. 25. The rear, she explained, had a keyed lock and was reinforced with a bar.

The safe, which was located in a back room, had been opened with a key and $297 removed. The safe key was left in the back room.

The manager told police only four people have keys to the business, but did not want to provide the officer with those names until she had contacted corporate offices.

The case is listed as active.

The burglary is one of seven Dacula business burglaries which occurred between Aug. 24 and Aug. 26.
