Burglary Suspect Shot by Police
Officer uninjured, suspect's injuries not life threatening.
Gwinnett County Police investigators are at the scene of an officer involved shooting in the unincorporated area of Norcross.
The incident occurred on 5566 Weatherford Road and involved a Gwinnett County police officer and a burglary suspect.
According to police, the officer was uninjured and the burglar has been transported to Gwinnett Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries resulting from a gunshot wound.
