Dacula Home Burglarized, Owner Suspects Juveniles Responsible

A Dacula man returned home from visiting his family to discover his Beckenham Walk Drive residence had been burglarized.

The thief or thieves took an Xbox 360, 12 Xbox 360 games, two wireless Xbox controllers, a Nintendo Wii, four Nintendo Wii controllers, 40 Wii games and an iPod Touch. A Mountain View backpack embroidered with the name “Zachary” was emptied of its contents and also taken along with a Notre Dame pillowcase.

The homeowner said someone went through two jewelry boxes in the master bedroom, but no jewelry appeared to be missing.

There were no signs of forced entry.

According to the police report, the homeowner believes neighborhood juveniles may be responsible. The man said he used to allow a group of juveniles to play basketball in his driveway until he realized the juveniles were taking water bottles from the garage. The man said he has not allowed the juveniles to play basketball at his house since.

The case is listed as active.
