Dacula Party Broken Up by Gunfire

A bullet entered another resident's house and lodged into the kitchen ceiling.

A party at 2057 Fern Valley Court in Dacula on July 14 ended when shots were fired.

According to the incident report, the homeowner told police she was hosting a party and one of the guests was outside smoking a cigarette when he was "jumped" by six other males. Shots were then fired.

One of the individuals involved was reportedly part of the "Grimey Gang."

While police were at the scene, a resident next door called 911 to report a bullet had entered his home and lodged into his kitchen ceiling. Officers retrieved the bullet.

It is not known whether one or more individuals were shooting during the incident.
