Fake Money Passed at Fast Food Restaurant
Thief used counterfeit $10 bills to pay for food.
Police are investigating a Sept. 2 incident in which a male suspect used three counterfeit $10 bills to obtain genuine cash as change.
According to an employee of the , the suspect placed two separate food orders at the drive-thru. The suspect paid for the orders with three $10 bills and received a total of $12.46 in change. The suspect then drove away without the ordered food.
The employee showed the bills to his manager who subsequently determined the bills were fake by using a counterfeit bill detection marker.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 17 to 20 years of age with brown hair. He was wearing a black shirt and driving a newer model, black 4-door Honda Civic at the time of the incident.
The case is listed as active.
