Fire Started in Field after Man Reportedly Said Devil was Sleeping Inside Barn
The fire occurred behind a Pucketts Mill Road residence.
Several rows of clippings in a field waiting to be baled and sold went up in flames July 24 behind a Pucketts Mill Road residence.
The resident who called about the fire said a relative possibly started the blaze after reportedly making a comment about the devil sleeping inside a barn on the property.
According to county firefighters, there was no evidence the fire was started intentionally.
