A neighbor reported seeing a suspicious vehicle in the area around the time of the burglary. The neighbor described the vehicle as a late 1980s or early 1990s dark green four-door Mercury Mystique or similar type vehicle. According to the neighbor, two black males were inside the vehicle. The neighbor said one of the males rang his doorbell. When the man answered his door, the male immediately said he had the wrong house and walked away. The neighbor described the male as being approximately 5-foot-10, clean shaven and 180 pounds. The male was wearing a black doo rag, black pants, a white t-shirt and black shoes. The neighbor told police he thought it was strange that the male walked across his lawn and in front of a small patch of woods that separated his house from the victim’s house.
