Inside Police Reports: 'Yes, sir,' Man Says, Then Hands Over Pot to Officer

Dacula traffic stop leads to drug charges.

An Auburn man caught speeding on Winder Highway near Dacula last week ended up with drug charges before the night was over.

Gwinnett County Police stopped Ryan Chavis doing 60 mph in a 45 zone well past 2 a.m. on Feb. 10, according to the incident report.

The officer smelled marijuana as he approached the car, and asked Chavis if there was anything in the car that should not be there.
