Keep Your Garage Door Closed: Burglaries Have Increased in Gwinnett District 4

Gwinnett Police report an increased number in thefts in District 4 due to garage doors being left open.

District 4 includes the areas of Dacula, Grayson, Loganville, Hamilton Mill, Hoschton, Lawrenceville and Hog Mountain.

Officer Ryann Dunning, the community relations officer in the district, said items like tools, bicycles and lawn equipment have been reported stolen.

“The police department is asking and recommending people to keep their garage doors closed and secure when they are not outside and/or not home,” he said in an email.
