Man Accused of Brandishing Gun

Suspect described as a former acquaintance who now harasses the victim and his friends.

A Dacula man is accused of pointing a gun at a 22-year-old Bethlehem resident during a July 27 gathering.

The incident occurred at a Sam Calvin Drive home where one of the witnesses resides. According to the 18-year-old witness, the suspect, who lives next door, is a former acquaintance who now “harasses” the witness and his friends since the witness no longer associates with him.

The victim said he and several friends were outside when the suspect gestured for him to walk over to his house. When the victim refused, the suspect allegedly pulled a handgun and began to repeatedly work the slide. The victim said the suspect then pointed the gun at him and began walking towards him, but turned around when the witness ran inside to alert his mother.
