Man Cited After Road Rage Incident in Tucker

A perceived insult in traffic gets a local man into trouble - again.

A Tucker man has been cited for simple assault and aggressive driving after a road rage incident in the Publix parking lot on Hugh Howell Road.

Antonio Terrell Chambers, 32, allegedly pointed a gun at another driver after an earlier altercation, according to a report from the DeKalb Police Department.

Chambers told police that the incident on the afternoon of Nov. 6 began when he and the other driver, identified as Lauren McKenzie Marlow, 32, had exchanged words while both were driving at Main Street and Lawrenceville Highway. "Chambers said he did not like the fact that Marlow gave him the bird," the report stated.

Marlow then drove to Publix and was followed there by Chambers, who blocked Marlow's car with his own. He then got out of his car, a black Toyota Solara, and pointed a gun at Marlow and her passenger, Charles Alfred Greiner, 38.

Greiner then also pulled out a pistol "because he feared for Marlow's life," the report said.

No shots were fired and police officers arrived at this point, arresting both men. Chambers was cited and Greiner was released after being questioned.

The report revealed this was not the first time Chambers landed in trouble for road rage. On a previous occasion, he followed another driver from Hugh Howell Road to the Tucker Precinct itself "for allegedly also giving him the middle finger in public."

Chambers told police at the time that he was doing nothing wrong, only "calling people out for their driving." The report concluded that Chambers "continued to to show no regard for his actions towards other drivers."

Another prime example of "mentally sound" people carring conceiled weapons! You can no longer yell or flip someone off w/out the possibility of getting shot. Amazing.
