Man Pleads Guilty to Tag Violation

Traffic ticket lone case on Dacula Municipal Court Calendar.

Only one case was on Tuesday evening’s Dacula Municipal Court calendar.

That case involved a J.W. Truck Sales employee who had been cited for driving a company vehicle without proper registration.

Dacula City Marshal Steve Cline initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle after noticing the vehicle did not have a tag displayed. Due to the fact the vehicle was not registered in Georgia, Marshal Cline was unable to verify registration or insurance status through the state database. As a result, the employee was cited with a violation of Georgia law 40-2-20 which pertains to motor vehicle registration.
