Man Says Ex-Girlfriend Broke Into Home, Stole Mattress and Couch

Inside Police Reports: A closer look at area incident reports.

A Dacula man said an ex-girlfriend and accomplices broke into his residence and stole items both of them owned when they lived together.

They took a couch, king-sized mattress and laser jet printer, the man told Gwinnett Police on Sunday, May 11. He said a screen was removed and the burglars came through an unlocked window at his Tributary Way address.

According to the incident report, the man said his ex-girlfriend’s lease had run out in April, and later that month, police responded to the location so she could get some personal belongings. He said he hadn’t heard from her since.
