Mattie's Call: Missing Woman, 77, Found Safe in Tifton

Shirley J. Ingall was found Thursday night; she is safe at home.

Updated, Friday, 9:15 a.m.: Gwinnett Police reports that Shirley Ingall was found Thursday night in Tifton, Ga. She is fine and has returned home to her family.

Gwinnett Police are looking for a 77-year-old Buford-area woman who has been missing since Wednesday morning.

The police department sent out the following Mattie’s Call just after 1 p.m. Thursday:

The Gwinnett County Police Criminal Investigation Unit is currently investigating the disappearance of a 77 year old female that resides at 1938 Trestlebrook Way. This is in an area of unincorporated Buford within Gwinnett County.

 

A Mattie’s Call Alert is in effect for W/F Shirley J. Ingall of Buford. She is 77 years old and was possibly last seen wearing a plain color shirt and dark color skirt. She has short curly style salt and pepper hair and may be wearing small earrings.

 

She left her home (1938 Trestlebrook Way, Buford) sometime after 6:00 am in a silver 2014 Chrysler Town & Country minivan, bearing Georgia tag # PRJ 5428. She was enroute to her daughters home in Stone Mountain and never arrived.

 

Mrs. Ingall suffers from diabetes and kidney problems. She walks with a cane and may require a wheelchair for long distances.
