Mill Creek Student Charged with Sexual Battery

Student, 16, accused of simulating sex act with freshman.

A sophomore is facing criminal charges after allegedly assaulting a 15-year-old underclassman.

According to school officials, on Friday, April 22, the two students had a conversation that included sexual content. During the conversation, the 16-year-old sophomore reportedly pushed himself against the younger student to simulate contact of a sexual nature.

The 16-year-old is now facing a charge of sexual battery and has been released to his parents.

In Georgia, sexual battery is defined as an offense in which the offender β€œmakes physical contact with the intimate parts of the body of another person without the consent of that person.”

The names of the students are not being released due to their ages.
