Money Taken From Register of Dacula Restaurant
Amy La Faye's owner reports theft of $1,300.
Police are investigating a Christmas Eve theft at a Dacula restaurant.
According to the police report, the owner of discovered $1,300 in cash was missing just before noon on Dec. 24. Several customers and employees were in the restaurant at the time of the theft.
The owner told police she was busy preparing to close the restaurant for the holiday weekend when the theft occurred. The business does not have video surveillance, but the owner was able to provide police with the names of several people who were present at the time of the theft.
