More Arrests Made in Mall of Georgia Robberies

Two more suspects taken into custody, third remains at large.

Two more suspects have been arrested in connection with a string of armed robberies in Gwinnett.

Ashley Henderson, 27, is charged with three counts of armed robbery for the incidents in Gwinnett and three counts of conspiracy to commit armed robbery. A second suspect, Veronica Bullard, a 32-year-old employee of Dunbar Armored, was taken into custody on March 30 by Marietta Police. According to a Gwinnett County Police press release, GCPD detectives will charge Bullard with at least one count of party to the crime of armed robbery.

Police have also charged Edward Thornton, 28, with two counts of armed robbery. Thorton remains at large and should be considered armed and dangerous, police say. Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts should contact GCPD at 770-513-5300.

The arrests follow those of Stacey Lamont Dooley and Quinton Lamar Booker. Dooley was taken into custody on March 30 and charged with three counts of armed robbery in Gwinnett and two counts of conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Booker was charged with three counts of armed robbery. Today, police announced Dooley and Booker have also been charged with an additional count of conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

The arrests were made in connection with a series of armed robberies including several in Gwinnett County. The first Gwinnett robbery occurred in November of 2010 at the Mall of Georgia Bank of America. The second Gwinnett robbery took place at the Wells Fargo in Centerville. On December 7, 2010, the suspects are accused of committing a robbery inside the Mall of Georgia. An armed guard fired one round at the suspects in that incident.

In all three Gwinnett cases, guards were refilling ATMs at the time of the robberies.
