Multiple Car Break-ins Reported on Sweet Auburn Lane

At least five vehicles entered between the evening of Jan. 6 and the morning of Jan. 7. All of the vehicles had been left unlocked.

Several Sweet Auburn Lane residents had their cars broken into earlier this month.

Police responded to at least five reports of entering auto in the Dacula subdivision located off Old Auburn Road.

One victim said he left his truck unlocked overnight and discovered all the doors open the following morning. Nothing was taken, but the vehicle had been searched. The victim advised that vehicles belonging to his father and brother had also been entered and searched. No items were reported missing from those vehicles.

Two other victims also left their vehicles unlocked overnight. One victim said all but two condoms had been taken out of a box in his vehicle, but nothing else of value was missing. The other victim said nothing was missing from his vehicle.
