An employee at a gas station near Bethlehem believes a man who has been hanging around the store was the person responsible for leaving methamphetamine in the men’s room.
According to a Barrow County Sheriff’s Office incident report, the employee found the meth hidden inside a roll of toilet paper when he cleaned the restroom around 3:45 a.m. on May 29. The roll was hidden behind the toilet, and the inside was wadded on both ends with paper.
When he pulled out the paper, “several clear crystals” fell out, according to the incident report. The crystals later tested positive as methamphetamine.
The employee said a “well-built” black man had been hanging out in the gas station parking lot throughout his work shift — 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. During this time, the man came into the store multiple times to go to the bathroom, and was in the bathroom for several minutes each time.
The employee said he has seen the suspect before during his workshifts. He always drives a red Camaro.
