News Nearby: Two Charged in Connection With Gun Theft, Pawn Shop Burglary
A total of 21 guns and various kinds of ammunition were taken during the Aug. 25 burglary.
An Atlanta man is in custody after being charged in connection with an Aug. 25 burglary at a Winder pawn shop.
Robert Jonathan Young, 21, has been charged with one count of burglary, one count of second-degree criminal damage, one count of theft by receiving, 21 counts of theft by taking and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. According to a press release from the Winder Police Department, Young was taken into custody last week by the Atlanta Police Department on unrelated charges and is currently being held in the Fulton County Jail.
Winder police have also obtained warrants against a second man.
