Car Accident Leads to Profane Tantrum in Daycare Parking Lot

A Dacula driver was arrested for disorderly conduct after cursing and giving police the bird.

A man was arrested for disorderly conduct after continually cussing and giving an officer the bird after a car accident on Hog Mountain Road in Dacula.

According to a police report, Preston Schexnayder was arrested when officers responded to a car crash on July 17 at the access road next to the Primrose School of Dacula. According to the police report, Schexnayder admitted to crossing a solid double line to pass a slower vehicle. Schexnayder reported that the slower car sped up and forced him off the road.

Police advised Schexnayder that he was as fault in the accident because he crossed the solid double line. Schexnayder responded to police by saying "That's bull**** he ran me off the road." The officer asked Schexnayder not to cuss and noted that the Primrose School was open and adults and small children were entering and exiting the school at the time.

Schexnayder continued to curse and was advised on multiple occasions that if he did not stop he would be cited and arrested for disorderly conduct. Schexnayder returned to his car at this time and police continued to speak to the Schexnayder's mother outside the vehicle. As the officer was returning to his patrol car, Schexnayder again exited his car and began to shout at the officer. Schexnayder said, "f*** you" multiple times while shooting the officer the bird. According to the report, it was at this time that the officer arrested Schexnayder, who upon being handcuffed became non-compliant and continued to use foul language.

The suspect continued spitting and kicking in the back seat of the patrol car and was transported to the Gwinnett County Jail.

Schexnayder was charged with disorderly conduct, driving on the wrong side of the road, passing in a no passing zone and improper lane change. He was released the following day on a $1,576 bond.

Wow copkiller, I thought I could have anti-establishment feelings occasionally. But referring to police as terrorists is pushing the limits. I hope you don't ever run into one of those "shoot first, ask questions later" types.

This face was here just a couple of weeks ago! I thought I recognized him from down the street. I saw some boys coming out of the house that was listed as the home of the past offender & asked, "Is this the guy house that arrested last week, THE KID WITH THE GOOFY FACE lives? One of the boys said, "YEAH THAT WAS ME BEING GOOFY!" To which I replied, NICE JOB, I BET MOMMA IS PROUD!" He just laughed and gave the smirking,"YOU CAN'T TOUCH ME! FACE AGAIN!" Some kids need to spend some time behind bars & quite being BAILED out as it just says, "Mommie will take care of all your mistakes, not to worry baby, I got this for you AGAIN! I am sure her life is no bed of roses for this sad mom, poor thing. Maybe she will have to move on, like the last parent of the punk on this street did. His Dad decided after it was just too much to be known as the drug house! (He was in the Patch 4 times and the cops finally caught him selling in one of the local FC'ed houses. YEAH for the cops! Back to GOOFIE GUY, so he got in the car with his friend laughing, Can you guess what kind of car it was? ...wait for it........wait for it ...you are right, it was a mercedes! Well it is important that a punk drives around with his best bud in a styling car!!! Now really, it is very sad to see so many young people believing they have the right to do any and everything they desire and give everyone else the GO TO _ELL! mentality. Having to much at a young age can be bad 4 immature boys & girls!
Wayne Hanson August 05, 2012 at 03:25 PM
It doesn't matter if its a double or serrated yellow line, if you want to pass a slower car its none of the other drivers business. The driver of the other car should have been arrested for reckless driving.

This young man had the swat at his door and was taken away in hand cuff 2 days ago. He has been selling drugs to middle school children. Like it or not we don't need this influence in our communities. 3 arrest in less that a summer does not speak well for this young man. Some wonder why he would put this stress on his Mother as she is close to the end of her illness. Stress breaks down the cell and creates free radicals which is the beginning of cancer. DO you think having a son arrested 3 times might be stressful. God bless this family as they struggle with drugs, disrespect, divorce, cancer and death. God Bless Gwinnett County DEA for doing what it takes to get drugs and drug dealers off the streets and keep drugs out of children's lives. TWO DOWN >>>>ONE TO GO>>>>>>YOUR NEXT!
Elizabeth August 25, 2012 at 08:18 AM
Okay well obviouslly you have your nose up in everyone's business and you have absolutely no idea what your talking about.. Yes the swat team was at his house and found a few things (no large amounts of anything) so he was for sure not dealing so maybe you should get your facts straight before you go around saying things that you "hear" like I said before I do believe he needs to get alot of help for his anger issues, drug abuse, and whatever else is making him lash out the way he is and change the path he is going down but to sit here and judge others when you don't know the full story doesnt make you that great of a person either! I guess you have been perfect your whole life and haven't made any mistakes expecially as a teen. does he deserve to be in jail? Yes.. Drugs are unexceptable and it is a sign of leading to other problems later on in life but he certainly doesn't deserve to be bashed when he can't defend himself expecially whenever people are spreading false imformation around! and bless this family as they struggle with death?! How dare you actually sit there and say that.. She is actually In the recovering stages of cancer and is going to make it soooo once again know your facts before you say things that you know nothing about! Two down one to go.. Your next?! What exactly do you mean by that?
David August 25, 2012 at 12:45 PM
My apologies for thinking like Cynthia. Now that I know he is just a confused kid, I'll call Obooboo and see if we can't get him a medal.
Cynthia Montgomery August 25, 2012 at 12:55 PM
Elizabeth, your wrong, THIS IS OUR BUSINESS! His neighbors are hard working, family raising, & fun loving. WE do not want drugs in our neighborhood or around our families. We live here, we will continue to work with the police to rid our neighborhood of drugs &.those who come to engage in the drug lifestyle. Mr. SMUG MUG DRUG THUG has been crying out & is in need of professional help but that money is going to lawyers, bail, & courts. If you continue to defend his behavior YOU ARE PART OF HIS PROBLEM. We, in this neighborhood, are a "live and let live" caring group of neighbors. Don't bring your nasty habit into our face or we will stand up, protect our families, investments, & children. If you don't like living in a neighborhood that will continue to rid itself of drugs then move on to an area that encourages drug traffic & swat teams. Elizabeth, is there a house next to you that is for sale? Trying to change this into, "BAD, BAD, NEIGHBORS!" is a perfect example of how people are in denial about his real problem. We are not judging, the courts will handle that, we are protecting; our children, homes, & our financial investments. THEY FOUND DRUGS, maybe not enough for you but, enough to bring charges. Enough said! Cancer causes death, the family is dealing with death, nobody said she was dying but you. Her neighbors are praying for her healing & for him so, step off! God Bless the cops as they serve, protect, & defend. He brings shame to his family, we are protecting ours.

Jim S August 25, 2012 at 01:11 PM
David, What the heck does Obooboo have to do with this. You are just another jerk who is trying to get partisan politics involved in everything. We have a real problem in our neighborhoods these days, and people like you are just trying stir to pot with unrelated stupidity. As to our little offender, nobody should pass on the double yellow line. The other vehicle was passing a school where parents and children were getting into their cars and leaving? HELLO!!!! That is reason enough to slow down. The attitude here is unacceptable, and this person will find a life of arrogance will lead to a life of prison...if he is lucky! I am not judging his parents, I am just saying that failure to follow the law will result in punishment...period.
Cynthia Montgomery August 25, 2012 at 01:38 PM
Jim, you make a very valid point. LET'S LEAVE HIS PARENT OUT OF THIS. SMUG MUG DRUG THUG is old enough to drive a car, he is old enough to purchase illegal drugs. he is old enough to cuss out the police, he is old enough to disrespect the laws of the land, he is old enough to put small children in danger, in my book HE IS OLD ENOUGH to stop being called a kid. We need to view this for what it is. A man in the neighbor putting others in danger. A man in the neighborhood is bringing drugs into the community. A man in the neighborhood is bringing shame to his family. A man in the neighborhood has been arrested 3 times. A man in the neighborhood is engaging in adult activities yet, when in trouble act like a child and want everyone to fall in line and say POOR LITLE BOY! When you view his actions from the mindset of manhood who would want to have a man in the neighborhood like him? How does this play out? "Welcome home dear, how was your day? You know Paul down the street was arrested again last night after the swap team found drugs in their house again, and did you read where he was cussing out the cops in from of the kids arriving at the daycare after ignoring the neighborhood laws and speeding on the parkway and almost being run of the parkway, and to top it all off this is the second time the swat team has been to the house." Boy or man, it is not behavior becoming of anyone.
David August 25, 2012 at 01:47 PM
Blah, Blah, Blah. Why don't you and Michelle just stick to shutting down websites? If you can't read sarcasm into my comment, then you aren't very intuitive. The kid is a criminal and should be treated as such, not defended.
Kristi Reed (Editor) August 25, 2012 at 01:50 PM
I have already had someone email asking if this was the same person who was arrested again last week. He was. The information will be in the docket book later today.
Jim S August 25, 2012 at 01:56 PM
David, Apologies for being rude. I have been reading so many other blogs where people are slamming politicians for everything from lack of rain to thunderstorms that my sarcasm radar is off. I have long proposed stronger law enforcement in our community, while at the same time telling people that we have to defend ourselves. I have just come from a CERT drill where new graduates put what they have learned to practice. I encourage Gwinnett citizens to get involved, as it takes each one of us to protect ourselves and our family.
Kristi Reed (Editor) August 25, 2012 at 02:02 PM
Jim - This is a little off topic, but what CERT group? Is this the one that trains as part of the Gwinnett Citizens Fire Academy or another one?
Cynthia Montgomery August 25, 2012 at 02:15 PM
Kristi, This man has been arrested 3 times from what I can remember. 2 times with the swat team raiding for drugs and 1 time for breaking road laws. I might be wrong but I rarely forget a face, occupational trait. I have seen this Smug Mug more than one time on the Patch,
David August 25, 2012 at 02:19 PM
Well, everyone knows that lack of rain and the severe thunderstorms we have experienced are Bush's fault. DUH!!
Jim S August 25, 2012 at 02:37 PM
Kristi, this is the Community Emergency Response Team. They are part of the fire department and Homeland Security, but have their own curriculum. We have not been through the Citizen's Fire Academy, but were encouraged to. My wife and I have both been through the CERT training and the Gwinnett County Citizen's Police Academy.
Jim S August 25, 2012 at 02:39 PM
David, that is too funny, but untrue. Al Gore disrupted the weather when he invented the Internet!
Donna August 25, 2012 at 02:49 PM
It's a little late to put his parents out of this one since you've already put them into it all over this page with wrong information anyways... Also, YOU ARE OLD ENOUGH to be doing better and more grown up things than bashing an eighteen year old boy over and over again when he isn't there to defend himself. You've made enough negative comments so I think everyone knows your opinion on the matter, so you can take a second and find something better to do with your time.
Kristi Reed (Editor) August 25, 2012 at 03:11 PM
Hello everyone - Please remember to refrain from personal attacks. If you disagree with someone's opinion, please feel free to share your views but do not call other people names.
Elizabeth August 25, 2012 at 11:52 PM
If you think you can protect your kids from being around drugs you might want to home school them and never let them go out of your house bc like it or not it will always be around weather we like it or not.. It is a horrible thing but so are all of the other screwed up things that happen in this world that continue to happen.. What it all comes down to is your children will make their ownnn judgement and hopefully they have better sence then to do them but let's face it.. Kids these days are getting worse and worse! But what made me mad about your comments are that you are like a high school girl gossiping and stirring the pot.. He has been arrestested and will be getting the help he needs! So keep your thoughts to your perfect little family.. I would hate to see if your child makes any mistakes.. It will be all of yourrrr fault! Ha such a joke! And congratulations David you can copy and paste but do you see the 'OR' in there?! Means it was any of those three which happens to be the possession of dangerous drugs.. And yes it's not right but to sit here and say he is a dealer is completely off! I know my facts to the t so soak them up (; god bless all of you judgemental people lets see how the man upstairs will judge y'all on gossiping and hateful!
Elizabeth August 25, 2012 at 11:55 PM
And being so hateful*
Reg B August 26, 2012 at 03:08 PM
Well said Cynthia, I am dealing with the death of my wife, the mother of my teenage son but in no way would I put up with drugs, anger to others and outright disrespect to the laws of our community by my son. Thank God he has a strong and good head on his shoulders and I am not dealing with those issues. I would suggest to the parents of this young man to reach out to the community for help. The local church(s) would be a good starting point.
Cynthia Montgomery August 26, 2012 at 09:08 PM
Reggie, I am sorry to hear about your families trials. I am happy to hear you & your son have used this situation to pull together to loving support to your wife. A solid support unit is well documented as a helping item in overcoming illness. This man's father is not in the home. His mother's boyfriend is in the home with his diminished son. It is sad that this other young man has to have this constant sordid life style before him. I agree with you about reaching out for help. One problem is once a child become an adult at 18, parents can no longer demand they go in for treatment to a hospital or group home. Drug addiction is a sad thing in our communities but the truth is many parents are doing drugs themselves. Kids can figure out why Mommy & Daddy keep their doors locked & why the house smells at times. The wild free hippies of the 70 have become the parents of drug addicted youth of today. Drugs dull the mind & kill brain cells. Drugs destroy families. When you tell YOUR CHILDREN that, it does not sink in. MUG SHOTS & SWAT TEAMS at the neighbor's house DOES SINK IN!! I was amazed at the number of children & parents that were there watching the swat team take the man out in hand cuffs. Everyone knows this MAN'S story. I hope dinner conservations had to do with the realities of dealing with drugs in your life & how it affects your life, education, reputation, finances, community & of course the future inability to get a job. GCP were back last night! One more to go!
Lou August 28, 2012 at 12:56 PM
Glad you had fun watching the show, now it's done and you can just move on and let go of this young man and his family .Find someone else to pick on, this is already old story ...We all are same in God's eyes ...
Cynthia Montgomery August 28, 2012 at 02:31 PM
Lou, What is your personal part in this man's behavior? If you know him, go be his mentor-he needs someone. I could not find anywhere in God's word that says, break the law or put those around you in danger. I did find, Honor you Mother and Father. A man selling drugs & making a neighborhood a drive thru drug alley is not a christian action since you have brought God up. This man decided to put children in danger as well as himself during drop off at the neighborhood daycare. Don't run a drug house in a busy family community where families walk their dogs, run each day, & take their children around visiting neighbors in wagons & think neighbors are going to smile. Past history is the best indicator of future behavior. Lou we did "live & let live with the first swat visit. 3 arrest for this man, now we will stay tuned to how this one family is affecting our quality of life. No one" has fun" seeing a family in chaos or watching your neighborhood become a drug haven. Neighbors are met with nasty cursing from this house when parents take their children to the car on their way to school. When was the last time your wife was called a B - - - H while cutting grass or getting the mail? Coming home to the swat team, covered from head to toe, is not how I to be greeted to. If you don't live here you don't know what we deal with. This story won't die because this man enjoys the attention he gets. In our eyes he needs help. God eyes may see something different.
Tammy Osier January 02, 2013 at 12:22 AM
As for the juvenile boot camp I used to work in before the funding ran out... many of the kids we had there had problems such as loss of a loved one, divorce, parent sick... Some act out in anger and rebellion while others don't. But the one thing we never did was make excuses for them. We confronted the behaviors, made sure they knew a bad choice would cause consequences (like a cold shower, sometimes wakes a person up). We didn't hide the truth from them-head on-you could have killed somebody-could have been your family- etc... When they violated probation, they went to jail. Those are grown up consequence. Plenty of opportunities out there presented to make a better choice (we had a psychologist and tons of life skills, tutoring etc...). I just think its sad that society chooses to slap young people on the hand or make excuses. They are doing them no favors. I work in jail ministry, and there, a person might find a new path. Lot's of opportunities if we will stop preventing our kids from suffering a little bit. As far as the bible, Cynthia, God is all about mercy, but where does it omit consequences? It doesn't. Like I said, allowing hard consequences might be the saving grace of some. I can't tell you how many kids get up and testify that they thank GOD that they went to jail. They finally came to the end of themselves and then repentance came. While the prodical's father loved him, he didn't stop him from wallowing with the pigs which made him come to his senses.
Tammy Osier January 02, 2013 at 12:23 AM
The question is, who keeps bailing him out? Might that cotribute to the fact that he hasn't learned anything? I'm with cynthia on this one, being on the wrong side of the road killed one of my parents. This was in front of a daycare. What if....? I have worked with juveniles for a long time, and the variable is the excuse making. Once that stopped, suddenly, the kids had to make hard choices. many made good ones. We, as a society these days just don't want our children to have to suffer any consequences. So, society has to. We had kids just like him in the juvenile boot camp. We need more of them. Plenty of parents would tell you it was a life saver for them.
Cynthia Montgomery January 04, 2013 at 10:00 PM
UPDATE. This man has moved out of our neighborhood and word has it, he is living in the west now with other family members. We wish his Mother a speedy recover and hope 2013 bring enlightenment to this man. Thanks to all who commented, for seeing the thoughts of your fellow neighbors encourages action and commitment to change because you no longer feel like you are the only one with compelling thoughts. Here's hoping 2013 will bring peace to families with drug problems.
