Police Investigating Several Hamilton Mill Burglaries

At least three homes have been burglarized in the past week.

Gwinnett County Police are currently investigating several burglaries in the Hamilton Mill subsivision.

On Nov. 11, a Cambridge Hill Drive home was burglarized. The daughter of the homeowner discovered the burglary when she returned home from school and found the garage door unlocked. The homeowner believes the burglary occurred between 2:20 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Two laptop computers, $700 in cash and jewelry were reported stolen.

On Nov. 13, police responded to two other burglaries in Hamilton Mill.

A Millwater Crossing home was burglarized sometime between 11 a.m. on Nov. 9 and 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 13. The home was equipped with an alarm system, but the homeowner advised it had not been armed while he was away. The thief or thieves are believed to have entered the house through an unlocked rear window.

A laptop, several watches and a ring were reported missing.

Police are also investigating a burglary that occurred at a Treybyrne Court home between the hours of 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. The thief or thieves entered the home through a rear window and stole a laptop and $22,000 worth of jewelry.

All three cases are listed as active.
