Police Seeking Suspect in Buford Home Invasion

Robbery occurred on Old Garrett Road.

Gwinnett County Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect wanted for questioning in connection with a March 20 home invasion robbery in Buford.

According to police, the victim answered a knock at his door at about 9:30 p.m. When the victim opened the door, a male suspect forced the victim back inside the home at gunpoint. Three other men were with the suspect at the time of the robbery and also entered the home.

The suspects bound and beat the victim, forcing him to reveal the personal identification number for his ATM card. Two of the suspects left the home to use the ATM card while the other two suspects remained with the victim.

After using the cards, the suspects returned to the victim’s house and then fled in a black passenger vehicle. Surveillance footage from the bank where the ATM card was used show a black male wearing a light colored hoodie.
