Report: Woman Had Meth in System When She Caused Wreck that Killed 5

Amanda Lynn Pardue's vehicle crossed the median and struck a semi truck on June 30.

The Georgia State Patrol said Friday a Gainesville driver, who died along with four others in a June 30 wreck in Hall County, had methamphetamine and other drugs in her body.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution said a GBI toxicology report showed Amanda Lynn Pardue tested positive for methamphetamine, amphetamine and other drugs.

Pardue, two of her children (ages 2 and 8), and a family friend and his grandson all died as a result of the wreck caused when she crossed the median and hit a tractor-trailer truck head-on on Ga. Highway 11.

Pardue’s daughter Kayleigh, 8, died at the scene, and her 2-year-old Eli son died later in the hospital. Robbie Hollis, 53, and his grandson Dalton Martin, 13, also died at the scene.
