Rooftop AC Units Valued at $17K Stolen from Dacula Building
The building on Dacula Road had been unoccupied since Oct. 2012.
Someone stole two air-conditioning units from the roof of a building on Dacula Road that has been unoccupied since October 2012.
The thefts were discovered on July 17, when a representative from the real estate company that manages it discovered the units were missing. According to a Gwinnett Police incident report, the representative said he was checking out the building at 525 Dacula Road because he had a new occupant for the location.
The six-ton and 10-ton units were valued at $17,000, according to the incident report.

“Due to the building being unoccupied for so long, there is no telling when the crime actually occurred,” the report stated.
