Smash and Grab Reported in Business Complex

Incident happened in plain sight of passing traffic on Braselton Highway.

Gwinnett County police are investigating a Nov. 2 smash and grab car break-in that occurred in a Dacula business complex.

The victim’s vehicle was parked in front of a medical office on Teron Trace within sight of passing traffic on Braselton Highway. The thief or thieves smashed the passenger side rear window with an unknown object and took the victim’s purse, which had been concealed underneath the passenger seat of her 2003 Nissan Murano.

The victim told police she did not see anyone loitering in the parking lot and did not notice if anyone was watching her when she left her vehicle.

The woman’s purse contained $100 in cash, her driver's license and several credit and debit cards.

The case is listed as active.
