The Gwinnett County Police Department (GCPD) and the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Department will be out in force tonight.
Officers and deputies are teaming up to conduct a large scale traffic enforcement operation. The DUI task force will lead the effort and several other units will be assisting.
The primary emphasis of the operation will be preventing drunk driving and apprehending impaired drivers.

GCPD urges to make transportation plans before going out for the evening. The department encourages impaired drivers to select a designated driver, use a taxi or call a sober friend or family member for a ride.
