Suspect Sought in Soft Drink Assault

Drive-thru customer throws drink at McDonald's employee.

A female employee was soaked, but otherwise unharmed, during an incident at the .

Police were called to the restaurant just before 3 a.m. on March 18 after a drive-thru customer reportedly threw a soft drink in the employee’s face. According to the victim, a red Dodge Intrepid occupied by four males pulled up to the drive-thru window to pick up an order. The victim said as soon as she handed the food to the driver, the man -- described only as a white male -- grabbed his drink and threw it in her face. Another employee who witnessed the incident corroborated the employee’s story.

Video surveillance was not available at the time of the report, but an employee advised the restaurant might be able to provide footage at a later date.
