Teen Claims She Was Threatened With Rape, Murder Over Laptop

A 14-year-old Dacula teen said she was coerced into giving her laptop to a male acquaintance.

Gwinnett County Police are investigating a Jan. 25 incident in which a 14-year-old Dacula teen said she was robbed of her laptop.

The teen told police a male acquaintance of hers asked to borrow her laptop. The teen asked her parents if she could loan the laptop to the male and her parents said no.

According to the teen, the male acquaintance came to her house to get the laptop. When the teen said her parents had not given her permission to loan it out, the male acquaintance allegedly said in a low voice, “You know what? If you don’t give me the laptop, I will rape you and kill you and your family.”

The teen said she was frightened by the suspect’s words and by his demeanor and believed he would follow through with his threat if she did not hand over the laptop. After the teen gave him the laptop, the male reportedly left the house.

The teen advised that she sent several text messages to the male asking him to return the computer. The male responded to several of the messages, but had not returned the laptop at the time the report was filed.

The case is listed as active.

"There are people in all levels of government office who would like nothing more than to beRead More able to conduct all the public business out of public view" The problem is, who's going to stop them? Certainly--no one from this justice department who is complicit in multiple overreaches and coverups.

I wrote this on another post but it so applies here and is worth repeating: James Madison wrote inRead More the federalist paper (no. 51) concerning the separation of powers and need for limited government , "“ It may be a reflection on human nature, that such devices should be necessary to control the abuses of government. But what is government itself, but the greatest of all reflections on human nature? If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary. In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men, the great difficulty lies in this: you must first enable the government to control the governed; and in the next place oblige it to control itself. A dependence on the people is, no doubt, the primary control on the government……” We need to have a "Madison moment"...
