The police report on the Jan. 23 rollover crash involving a teen driver had few additional details to offer regarding the cause of the accident.
The 17-year-old driver crashed after losing control of his 2000 Nissan Maxima on Jim Moore Road. According to the accident report, "Driver #1 was traveling north on Jim Moore Road near Thimbleberry Trail when he lost control, left the roadway and flipped the vehicle over. Vehicle #1 crashed through the fence line of the residence located at 1295 Lamont Circle, Dacula, and landed in the back yard. Driver #1 was found at fault and cited. No injuries reported. No further information."
The driver was cited for failure to maintain lane.
