Teen Shot at Discover Mills Mall
Shooting occurred during altercation between two groups.
A 14-year-old male was transported to Egleston Hospital with non-life threatening injuries after being shot in the back during an altercation at Discover Mills Mall.
Police were called to the mall shortly after 9 p.m. on Saturday night. According to Gwinnett County Police, initial reports indicate there was a confrontation between two groups in the parking lot outside Burlington Coat Factory. Several shots were reportedly fired, one of which struck the victim.
The investigation is ongoing.
