Vandal Strikes Local Business

A vehicle belonging to a Dacula heating and air business sustained extensive damage.

Police are investigating a case of vandalism that resulted in extensive damage to a vehicle parked at a Braselton Highway business.

At approximately 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 3, an employee of the heating and air business walked outside and discovered the windshield of a company vehicle had been broken. The 2004 Chevrolet C25 was also covered in dents, the paint was chipped and the vandal or vandals had slashed all four leather seats. A piece of cinder block was found in the bed of the truck and a larger piece was discovered on the ground in front of the truck. According to the police report, concrete dust was found inside the truck and on the exterior surfaces. The officer noted the dust appeared to have been caused by someone striking the cinder blocks against the vehicle.

The owner of the vehicle did not know of anyone who might be angry with him or upset with his business.
