Vandals Damage Home, Vehicle in Hamilton Mill
Damage appeared to have been caused by a pellet gun.
The property of at least three Hamilton Mill residents was damaged on Dec. 2 when a vandal or vandals armed with a pellet gun made a pass through the Hillgrove section of the Dacula subdivision.
Police were called to a home in the 3100 block of Hillgrove Terrace after the residents discovered someone had shot a hole in a second floor window of the home with a bb or pellet gun. One of the residents told police she was awakened by a loud crack sometime between 5 and 5:30 a.m., but did not get out of bed to investigate the noise.
Two other incidents of vandalism were also reported during the same time period in Hillgrove.

According to Gwinnett County Police public information officer Cpl. Jake Smith, the other victims live on the same street and had similar damage.
The incidents are not the only cases of vandalism currently under investigation in Hamilton Mill. On Nov. 20, a security company truck was damaged by pellet gun fire in the parking lot of the Hamilton Mill swim and tennis center located at 1669 Hamilton Mill Parkway. Police discovered a pellet lodged in the molding of the shattered window.
