Disorderly Waffle House Customer Warns Patrons They Will All Die

The man also advised officer the world was going to end in "one minute."

Despite a Lawrenceville man's dire predictions to the contrary, the world did not end last week.

A Gwinnett County Police officer was dispatched to the Winder Highway Waffle House at approximately 4:22 a.m. on Nov. 17 in response to a complaint regarding a drunk customer.

The officer spoke with Waffle House employees who said the man, later identified as Motillall Singh, 20, had been "causing a scene, being very loud, confrontational and was refusing to leave."

Singh, the officer noted in the report, had allegedly approached other Waffle House patrons and used a profane word before telling them they were all going to die.

As the officer approached Singh's table, Singh spotted the officer's reflection in the window, waved his hand and said "Here I am."

"I immediately smelled the odor of alcohol form his person and when he spoke, he was making little sense," the officer wrote in the arrest report.

The officer attempted to question Singh, but Singh did not reply other than to put his hands on his head before saying he wanted to be arrested. The officer complied with Singh's request and escorted him outside.

"I took him out to my car where he told me the world was going to end in 'one minute.' He was talking loud but was still not making sense as he was rambling on and on," the report stated.

Singh reportedly asked the officer numerous times to look at his last name. The officer noted Singh said "that he was going to have my job. He then asked asked how I would take care of my family."

Singh was transported to the Gwinnett County Jail without incident and cited for disorderly conduct. He was released later that morning on a $140 bond.
