Wires, Trees Down Throughout Gwinnett

Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services responded to a total of 87 incidents as severe storms moved through Gwinnett County last night.
Several county roads were temporarily blocked due to downed trees or power lines, including Alcovy Road in Dacula. Other blocked roads included High Point Road in Snellville, Bethesda Church Road in Lawrenceville, Killian Hill Road in Lilburn, Rosebud Road in Grayson, Kensington High Street in Lilburn, Litchfield Road in Snellville, Blue Springs Court in Lilburn, Ridgewood Drive in Lilburn, Saddle Court in Norcross, Rockbridge Road in Norcross, Bramlett Shoals Road in Lawrenceville, Pleasantdale Road in Doraville, Norwood Drive in Lilburn, Lenora Church Road in Snellville, Johnson Drive in Snellville, Gala Trail in Snellville, Lucelle Avenue in Stone Mountain, Pucketts Drive in Stone Mountain, Buford Drive in Lawrenceville, Riverside Drive in Lilburn, Fairfield Drive in Lilburn, Sweet Shrub Circle in Lawrenceville, Burns Road in Lilburn, Rotondo Place in Norcross, Veracruz Drive in Snellville, Shunn Way in Lilburn and Centennial Trail in Duluth.
Fire officials also responded to reports of two house fires -- one on Crumps Landing Circle in Snellville and one on Ceclia Way in Lawrenceville. Crews found no significant damage to either structure.

The high winds during last night's storm caused trees to fall on several houses. GCFES checked residences and secured utilities as needed. Trees fell on houses at the following locations: 153 Gloster Road in Lawrenceville, 5591 Brady Drive in Stone Mountain, 5341 Miller Road in Lilburn, 2263 Meadow Drive in Snellville, 185 Killian Hill Road in Lilburn, 3863 Princess Court in Lawrenceville, 264 Windsor Drive in Lawrenceville, 5156 Clearwater Drive in Stone Mountain, 1462 Fox Forest Terrace in Lilburn, 4033 Scenic Mountain Drive in Snellville, 3541 Smoke Rise Way in Lawrenceville, 2555 Lakemeadow Lane in Grayson, 5682 Crestwood Drive in Stone Mountain and 1836 Lake Lucerne Road in Lilburn.
No storm related injuries or deaths were reported.
