A five-minute trip into the Buford Walmart on Jan. 26 was just enough time for a quick thief to smash the window of a Gainesville woman’s car and snatch a company iPad that had been left in the vehicle.
The woman said she parked her car next to a gray passenger car occupied by three males. The woman told police she was only in the store for about five minutes. When she returned to her vehicle, she found the rear driver’s side passenger window smashed. A company iPad, which she had left on the floorboard near the front seat, was gone.
