A Dacula man believes a woman who used to live with him has been stealing his mail.
The woman, who reportedly moved out when the victim threatened to evict her, has allegedly been seen removing mail from the man’s mailbox on two separate occasions.
According to the victim, the first occasion was on June 29. The victim said he received a delivery confirmation from the United States Postal Service, but the package was not there when he arrived home. The victim said he contacted the post office and spoke with the postal delivery worker who delivered his mail. The postal employee reportedly advised that she had placed the package in his mailbox along with some other mail.
The following day, the victim’s mail once again went missing after the woman visited his house. The man told police the woman had harassed his children and called him a “bad person.”
The victim runs an eBay business and regularly receives checks and money orders in the mail. He told police he believes this is why the woman has been stealing his mail.
The case is listed as active.
