Woman Says Lortab, Xanax Stolen Out of Car

Victim left her vehicle unattended for several hours in the Hamilton Mill Publix shopping center.

A Dacula woman advised police that someone broke into her vehicle and stole numerous prescription drugs in the early morning hours of Aug. 13.

The victim said she parked her car at the Hamilton Mill Publix shopping center around midnight. When the woman returned at 5:30 a.m., she discovered her car had been entered and several items taken. The woman told police she thought her doors had been locked, but there were no signs of forced entry.

The thief or thieves reportedly took the victim’s recently filled prescriptions for Lortab, Xanax, Adderall and Celexa. According to the police report, the woman’s pink iPod Nano and $35 in cash were also missing.
