According to the Gwinnett County Police report, the woman was traveling westbound on Highway 316 near Winder Highway in Dacula when she changed lanes and "accidentally cut off" another vehicle.

"[The victim] advised the male drove up to the right side of her vehicle, stuck his hand out the window holding a 'silver' hand gun and 'shook' the gun in a 'up & down' motion [sic]," the officer wrote in the report.

The woman told police she was very scared and could not say for certain whether or not the man actually pointed the gun at her. She indicated the male did not have his finger on the trigger while holding the gun.

The woman said the suspect was driving a dark green Ford Ranger. She also provided police with the tag number of the vehicle.

The woman further indicated she did not wish to press charges because she does not want the driver to know her identity. She requested the encounter be documented in case the suspect is involved in future incidents.

The case has been closed due to the victim's unwillingness to prosecute.

The incident is not the first road rage incident involving a gun that has been reported in the Dacula area in recent months.

In August of 2012, a motorist was allegedly threatened with a gun near the intersection of Winder Highway and Harbins Road after the motorist confronted another driver who reportedly cut him off in traffic.

A similar incident occurred in May of 2012 when a Dacula man was arrested after allegedly displaying a gun when another driver changed lanes in front of him on Hamilton Mill Road near Braselton Highway.
