Dacula Woman Says She Was Robbed in Driveway of Her Home
The woman said the robber was a passenger in a truck that pulled into the driveway behind her.
A Dacula woman did not sustain any serious injuries, but lost several valuable documents during a Dec. 9 incident in Gran Heritage subdivision.
The woman said she had just pulled into the driveway of her Kachina Trail home to pick up her daughter when a white Ford Ranger pulled into the driveway behind her.
"She stated a black male about 6' tall exited the passenger side of the vehicle, rushed up to her, shoved her, grabbed the laptop bag on her shoulder and yelled 'Let it go.' [The Dacula woman] let go of the bag and ran inside," the officer wrote in the report.
The woman said the man who snatched her bag was wearing black clothing and a black "doo-rag." She was unable to provide a description of the driver of the truck.
The woman's bag contained a laptop computer valued at $750, her daughter's cellphone, her son's green card and social security card, $100 in cash, a checkbook and a passport.
The case is listed as active.
