Wrong-Way Driver Suspected of Being Under the Influence of Stolen Drugs

A Dacula woman believed to be responsible for an may have been under the influence of stolen drugs.

Channel 2 news reports that Beverly Wilkins, 37, is suspected of having been under the influence of the sedative Propofol when she reportedly drove for several minutes on the wrong side of Highway 316 before crashing head-on into another vehicle. According to Gwinnett County Police, several calls were placed to the 911 center reporting a wrong-way driver in the minutes immediately preceding the crash.

According to the Channel 2 news report, Wilkins and two other people remain hospitalized as a result of the accident.
