Another Segment of Sugarloaf Parkway Opens

New $15.5 million section runs from Martins Chapel Road to West Campbell Road.

Sugarloaf Parkway is now one segment closer to Highway 316.

The next-to-last section of the Sugarloaf Parkway extension project opened on Aug. 18. The 1.4-mile section extends the parkway from Martins Chapel Road to West Campbell Road. The project also features one mile of upgrades including a new Bramlett Shoals connector and a realignment of Campbell Road.

The next section, the extension from West Campbell Road to Highway 316, is expected to open in the second half of 2012.
