Broun: 'I Am Determined to Rip This Legislation out by Its Roots'

Rep. Paul Broun, whose 10th district includes Dacula, says Obamacare should be replaced with patient-centered reform.

Rep. Paul Broun (R-GA-10) says he will not stop fighting until all Americans "have the quality and affordable healthcare that they deserve."

That healthcare plan, according to Broun, is not President Obama's Affordable Care Act.

Broun said he has heard several stories over the past few weeks describing how Obamacare is "attacking businesses and destroying jobs."

"With each story I hear, I become even more determined to rip this legislation out by its roots and replace it with the patient-centered reform found in my OPTION Act," Broun said in an email to constituents.

Broun's OPTION Act, a 51-page bill, would repeal Obamacare, allow deductions for 100 percent of health care expenses, increase contribution limits to Health Savings Accounts (HSA), allow consumers to shop for insurance across state lines and more. Read details of the plan here.

Do you believe Obamacare is "attacking businesses and destroying jobs"? Would you like to see Obamacare replaced with different legislation? Do you support Rep. Broun's OPTION Act? Let us know in the comments.
