Commissioners Approve Two Dacula Area Road Projects
Improvements will cost just over half a million dollars
Fence Road near and the intersection of Old Peachtree Road and Dacula Road will soon be under construction.
On Oct. 4, the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners approved two road safety improvement projects totaling $566,411 for the Dacula area.
According to county officials, one of the projects will realign the intersection of Dacula Road and Old Peachtree Road to improve visibility and traffic flow. On Fence Road, the county will install nearly a half mile of curb, gutter and sidewalks in the area of Dacula Elementary.

“This work completes two safety improvements we promised as part of the voter-approved SPLOST sales tax programs,” Gwinnett DOT Acting Director Kim Conroy said in a released statement.
The projects will take about six months to complete.
