County Leaders Invite Comments on the Proposed 2014 Budget

Commissioners will vote on the budget proposal on Jan. 7, 2014.

On Nov. 19, Gwinnett County Commission Chairman Charlotte Nash presented a proposed $1.5 billion budget for fiscal year 2014. The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners will vote on the proposal on Jan. 7, 2014.

As part of the budget review process, members of Nash's budget review committee heard presentations from elected officials and department heads before making recommendations.

Gwinnett County citizens who wish to comment on the proposed budget are encouraged to do so using an online comment form through Tuesday, Dec. 31.
