The Gwinnett GOP will host a candidate forum for the city council seat currently occupied by Dr. Tim Montgomery Thursday Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. at Dacula City Hall located at 442 Harbins Road in Dacula. The election takes place Tuesday Nov. 8. The seat for city council is non-partisan. All three candidates for the position have committed to attend. The forum is open to the public.
Candidates will be given the opportunity to speak openly to the public as well as answer a series of questions submitted. At the conclusion of the forum citizens will have the opportunity to ask questions that may not have been covered during the forum. If citizens would like to submit questions to be presented to candidates please submit to Heather Alvarez via email at heather@gwinnettrepublicans.com no later than Oct. 13, 2011
