Gwinnett Participates in National Drug Take Back Initiative

The DEA has partnered with state and local law enforcement agencies throughout the U.S. to declare Saturday, Oct. 29 as National Prescription Take Back Day.

Community members can drop off any unwanted, unused prescription drugs at various Gwinnett locations for safe disposal.

Last year this effort included approximately 4,000 state and local law enforcement agencies throughout the U.S. and more than 309 tons of medication was accumulated.
