Informational Session on "Get in Gear" Program for Gwinnett Seniors

Gwinnett Senior Services needs transportation providers for a new transportation voucher program "Get In Gear." The purpose of this program is to help seniors age 60 and up or the disabled travel throughout the county. This program will allow interested individuals to increase their income while assisting seniors at the same time.

An informational session is scheduled for July 14 from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m.at the Gwinnett Senior Services Center in Lawrenceville. The USDOT has allocated federal funds  to Gwinnett County Senior Services to support the "Get in Gear" program.

Churches, schools, nonprofit organizations, assisted living facilities,businesses and transportation services that have vehicles available are encouraged to attend.
