Gwinnett Board Appoints Next County Attorney
William Linkous III is expected to begin his new role on May 19.
The Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners appointed William Linkous III as the new county attorney, Chairman Charlotte Nash said in a press release.
Linkous will lead the county’s Law Department, beginning May 19.
His appointment is expected to be approved at the next commission meeting.

Linkous has 20 years of experience in local government law, litigation and labor and employment law, according to the press release.
Among his positions was county attorney for DeKalb County.
