Street Work Coming to Hill Circle and South Street in Dacula

The project includes resurfacing streets, rebuilding sidewalks, improving drainage and constructing driveway aprons.

Road work is expected this summer on Dacula roadways.

The city says a federally funded project will rebuild existing sidewalks, improve drainage, construct concrete driveway aprons in the right of way and resurface Hill Circle and South Street.

The project is being paid for by a federal Community Development Block Grant.

Contractor Allied Paving expects to complete the project within the contract period of 90 days.

The city posted the following on its website:

"As with any construction project, there will be inconveniences for the residents along these streets. Traffic will be maintained along the streets and the contractor will make every effort to inform residents of the times when access to individual driveways may be interrupted for a period of time. We ask that residents drive carefully and observe any traffic control efforts by contractor employees."
